This beautiful orchid is from a photograph that I took at the Botanical Gardens in Maui. There were so many beautiful flowers there and I took so many pictures. I plan to paint more of them in the future. [more]
I was given the title before I started to paint the painting. I thought with a title like that, I need to paint alot of roosters. My friend Georgia gave me this wonderful rooster. I have plans to include it in other paintings. I used my favorite plate as a reference in this. It looks like Fall with the colors that I chose. The painting measures approx. 17.5"x 23.5". It is matted in an off white double mat that measures 24"x30". [more]
